Make no mistake. In this instance, cheap does not mean subpar. On the contrary, Versa and Sentra both offer excellent build quality, great comfort and a respectable amount of features for the price. And speaking of price, both have two of the lowest MSRPs you'll find in the auto industry, which is why they were recently named on Cars.com's "Top 10 Cheapest New Cars You Can Buy" list.

Editors calculated the industry's cheapest cars using fuel-cost data from the past eight years, along with current vehicle prices and destination fees. Hundreds of models were evaluated, but only 10 made the list and we're excited that two of them are available right here at Crown Nissan of Decatur - the 2014 Sentra and Versa! Read below to learn more about our winners.

Nissan Versa

The Versa may be subcompact, but it offers big value with an estimated 35 mpg combined, refined performance and spacious interior. Its highlights include:

  • Chrome door handles and grille accents offer an elegant and stylish look
  • A surprisingly roomy backseat, and overall excellent leg and headroom, make it easy to fit up to five passengers
  • Fold down 60/40-split rear seats provide several versatile cargo storing solutions

Nissan Sentra

With a diverse trim set, numerous options and attractive styling, midsize sedan shoppers will find that Sentra is one of the best options in its class. While it received a redesign last year, more enhancements are offered for 2014:

  • Improved ride quality is the result of several under-the-hood revisions
  • For those who desire advanced connectivity features, new smartphone app integration is now optional
  • With the Sentra's new upgraded front seats, you'll enjoy greater comfort on your commutes
