What's New For the 2020 Nissan Sentra?

The Nissan Sentra has been redesigned for the 2020 model year. Its design echos that of the Altima, and Maxima. The front of the Sentra features wider headlights, with a front hood, sloping downward to a bold V motion grille, and a roof with a floating-like design. There will also be a dash topper, a full climate control panel, and horizontal air vents, which will make the cabin space feel more substantial. This car also includes a flat-bottom steering wheel and a touchscreen that looks like it's floating. Fuel economy is 29 mpg in the city, 39 mpg in highway driving, or a combined 33 mpg.

Sentra is Impressive No Matter Which Trim Level You Choose

There are three trim levels of the 2020 Nissan Sentra. Each trim level has many standard features. The base model of the Nissan Sentra is the S. It includes a 7-inch touch screen and Intelligent Trace Control Cruise Control. The next trim level is the SV and comes with Hands-Free Text Messaging Assistant, an 8-inch touch screen display, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The SR model has the same tech features as the SV trim level. Consumers will get 32 miles per gallon and a CVT transmission. 

2020 Nissan Sentra Under the Hood

When it comes to performance, the 2020 Nissan Sentra has improved compared to past years' models. With the new Sentra, consumers will be getting a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine that comes with 149 horsepower, and 145 lb-ft of torque. The additional horsepower will make the Sentra more competitive in its class as it will appeal more to consumers looking for an economy sedan with excellent performance.

Safety is one of the new 2020 model's most important features. The car has many safety features that provide a very comfortable and safe driving experience. Included are features such as automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitors, and adaptive cruise control. The new 2020 Sentra also include active lane control, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, an array of airbags, Rear Sonar System, Intelligent Engine Brake, Hill Start Assist, Rearview Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert as well.
