The 2016 Nissan Murano keeps raking in the awards. It’s been named the “Best 2-Row SUV for Families” by U.S. News & World Report. It also earned the magazine’s “Best Cars for the Money” designation back in February.

The awards program takes things like safety and reliability ratings into account when determining the winners within each of 21 automotive categories.

“Nissan is honored by the continuing recognition of our new Murano by the editors of U.S. News & World Report,” said Dan Mohnke, vice president, Nissan Chief Marketing Manager & Marketing Operations.

Known as Nissan’s flagship SUV, the 2016 Nissan Murano offers standout style. At first glance, the exterior is nothing less than striking, with its V-motion front end, LED boomerang lights and unique “floating” roof.

Additionally, Murano comes packed with standard equipment, like 18-inch alloy wheels, LED running lights and taillights, automatic headlights, rear privacy glass, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a 60/40-split folding rear seat, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, a rearview camera and more.

As for power, the stylish SUV delivers. Powered by a 3.5-liter V6 that produces 260 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque, Murano will get you where you need to go in no time.

Step inside the Murano and you’ll find plush seating and high-end gadgets that you’re sure to fall in love with. The audio system boasts a 7-inch display screen that offers smartphone integration via Facebook, Pandora and iHeartRadio apps.

You can expect top-tier safety features from this vehicle as well. Antilock brakes, traction and stability control, hill-start assist, front side airbags, side curtain airbags, a driver knee airbag and an active front head restraint all come standard on the SUV.
