2021 Nissan Kicks Exterior

What's New For the 2021 Nissan Kicks?

The 2021 Nissan Kicks has the same interior as 2020, but its exterior gets some styling refreshments to give it a refreshed appearance for 2021. The Kicks is produced in three trim levels, with some minor styling differences among the trims. The Kicks, a sporty crossover, has a redesigned front grille in 2021. It features a more extended layout, narrower LED headlights, and a slimmer front bumper that gives the crossover a more refined appearance.

LED lights are standard, and the lights are larger this year to add to the car's new appearance and increase visibility on the road. The back bumper gets a sportier design this year, and there are some minor changes to the body style that enhance the Nissan's athletic appearance. While the interior is mostly unchanged, some additional standard features this year give you a more comfortable and value-oriented ride.

The Kicks Has Many Features Across Several Trims

Three trims are available for the 2021 Nissan Kicks. The S trim, which kicks off the lineup, includes 16-inch steel wheels that come with protective wheel covers. The base trim's technology includes a seven-inch infotainment display. Bluetooth is standard, and there are three USB ports in the cabin. The S trim also includes a six-speaker audio system and a driver's height-adjustable seat.

A larger infotainment system with an eight-inch display is added to the SV, the second Kicks trim. You will also get Android Auto and Apple CarPlay with this trim level. Satellite radio is also added to enhance the audio system. This trim has some additional upscale features including padded armrests and chrome accents. Its wheels are larger at 17 inches, and they have an alloy finish. Remote start and keyless ignition are other highlights of the SV trim.

The top Kicks in 2021 is the SR, which has all of the previous amenities along with standard LED headlights and fog lights. Roof rails and black mirrors are also added to this trim. Its upgrades include a 360-degree camera, premium cloth upholstery, and a leather-wrapped shift knob and steering wheel. An available trim-exclusive package will add a Bose sound system and simulated leather seating.

How Much Power Does the Nissan Kicks Have?

The same engine is under the hood of all Kicks trims. They all get a 1.6L four-cylinder engine. This engine's power output is 122 HP, and its torque capacity is 114 LB-FT. An automatic transmission is standard. Front-wheel drive is the standard drivetrain for all trims. For a more fuel-efficient ride, you can also choose to get the Kicks with a hybrid engine.

Nissan Kicks Safety Features

The Kicks include many safety features from the start. The base safety package provides rear cross-traffic monitoring, rear parking sensors, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, forward collision mitigation, pedestrian detection, and automatic emergency braking in front and back. A few more safety features are available through safety packages, including a surround-view camera that is also standard on the SR.
