Nissan is celebrating the Juke’s fifth anniversary in several ways and this is one. The automaker enlisted British artist Owen Gildersleeve to design an original work that celebrates the car’s tenure, as well as all of the people who were involved in making the SUV a reality.

"This was a great project to work on – hard work but very rewarding," said Gildersleeve. "As a celebration piece, it draws on so many influences, such as the origami focus inspired by Nissan's Japanese roots. Using so many individual pieces of paper to create the overall structure also represents the thousands of people who helped bring the Nissan Juke into reality in 2011."

Gildersleeve and his crew created a remarkable life-sized sculpture of the Nissan Juke out of 2,000 folded pieces of paper. It took the crew 200 hours to make and the results are incredible. The model is very detailed and accurately captures the Nissan Juke’s sporty, unique styling, right down to its large wheel fenders and prominent grille. The model was also built to spec, mirroring the Juke’s exact dimensions, which is pretty impressive in our opinion.
