The 2017 Nissan Titan is finally getting the King Cab model truck that fans have been waiting for. Arriving at Crown Nissan this spring, the large cab will offer multiple seating configurations, top-notch equipment and outstanding tow ratings that will benefit blue collar owners.
Buyers waiting for the King Cab will not be disappointed when it hits the market. Equipped with a 6.5-foot bed, the model comes with a standard rear bench seat and offers a front bench seat, which allows the King Cab to accommodate up to six passengers. Storage is available underneath the seats, but if you want additional cargo space, you can choose to delete the rear seat.
One of two engines powers the King Cab: a 5.6L V8 or 5.0L Cummins diesel V8. The former, fitted on half-ton models, delivers 390 horsepower, while the latter produces 310 horsepower and 555 lb.-ft. of torque. A seven-speed automatic is found on gas models; a six-speed automatic is equipped on XD versions.
If you’re planning on towing or hauling items using the King Cab, you’re in for a treat. Half-ton models feature a 9,410-pound towing capacity and a payload of 1,640. The XD offers a 12,510-pound towing capacity and a max payload of 2,710.
