Refined and ready to tackle all of your trips with style and grace, the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder is just what you need to elevate your drive. For 2017, the all-new Pathfinder gets several notable enhancements that are definitely worth mentioning.
Outside, the new SUV adopts the same signature design elements introduced on the award-winning Maxima sedan and Murano crossover, including the new "V-Motion" grille and boomerang-shaped headlights with LED daytime running lights. New LED headlights are standard on the Pathfinder Platinum.
There are also new 18-inch (S, SV and SL trims) and 20-inch (Platinum) aluminum-alloy wheel designs, which give the SUV a much sportier look than before. Two new exterior colors can also be found on the 2017 Pathfinder, including Sandstone and Caspian Blue. Other available colors are Midnight Jade, Brilliant Silver, Gun Metallic, Magnetic Black, Cayenne Red, Pearl White and Glacier White.
Underneath the hood, you’ll find a new 3.5-liter V6 that ups horsepower to 284. The new engine is capable of towing up to 6,000 pounds when properly equipped. It is an increase in power that is meant to suit a wide range of buyer needs. "As part of Nissan's ongoing, extensive research into consumers' real-world towing activities, we've found that mid-size SUV owners really want the ability to tow two-axle recreational trailers, whether for watercraft, flatbeds or campers," said Michael Bunce, vice president, Product Planning, Nissan North America, Inc.
On top of these benefits, the seven-passenger SUV comes with a variety of newly available safety features: Forward Emergency Braking, Intelligent Cruise Control and Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection.

Expected to arrive at Crown Nissan later this year, the all-new Pathfinder is definitely worth considering as your next new vehicle. In the meantime, check out our online selection of brand-new 2016 Nissan Pathfinders. When you’re done, stop by our Decatur dealership for a test drive!
