Aside from its futuristic styling enhancements, the 2017 Armada also gets a brawnier engine than its predecessor. Its new 5.6-liter Endurance V8 cranks out 390 horsepower (25 more horses than previous models) and 401 pound-feet of torque. That’s plenty of power to tow your boat to the lake with ease. The SUV comes equipped with a 7-speed automatic transmission.
Other notable changes to the all-new Armada include available equipment like Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Intervention, Backup Collision Intervention and Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection – safety features that are sure to give you and your family more peace of mind on the road.
The new Armada is available in three grades: SV, SL and Platinum and is offered in 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive configurations. Additionally, the 2017 Armada comes standard with Nissan Navigation with NavTraffic and NavWeather information, along with an 8-inch color display, heated front seats and a 13-speaker Bose audio system.
This superb SUV also takes cabin quietness to a whole new level. This is accomplished through the implementation of acoustic glass on the windshield and the front side windows, as well as through expanded use of sound absorption materials throughout the SUV.
On the outside, the new 8-passenger SUV gets a more aggressive stance with a dynamic V-motion front grille and standard LED low-beam headlights as well as signature LED Daytime Running Lights.
