The ever popular Nissan Rogue is already a hit with consumers and critics and this year’s changes offer even more to get excited about. The 2016 Rogue will offer a varied assortment of new tech finery, from safety and convenience features to in-demand infotainment and connectivity systems.

Here’s a detailed rundown of what you can expect from the new 2016 Nissan Rogue when it arrives to Decatur!

New Magnetic Black exterior color added

S Appearance Package Additions
The 2016 Rogue’s S Appearance Package receives new shiny chrome door handles, adding enhanced glamour to the SUV’s exterior. The package also receives body-color outside mirrors with integrated turn signals.

SV Premium Package Updates
The Rogue SV Premium Package gains Siri Eyes Free. If you own a compatible iPhone, you’ll be able to access Siri just like you do on your mobile device. She can perform a wide range of tasks for you, so that you can keep your eyes on the road and hands on the steering wheel. The SV Premium Package also includes Nissan’s Blind Spot Warning (BSW) system, which now utilizes radar-based technology rather than camera technology.

SL New Standard Features
Nissan Rogue SL trims add Siri Eyes Free, along with a convenient Motion-Activated Power Liftgate that enables owners to open the rear hatch hands free when they have the key fob anywhere on their person. In addition, SL trims add NissanConnect Services powered by SiriusXM, which includes several remote access, vehicle health monitoring and security functions, such as Automatic Collision Notification and Stolen Vehicle Locator for example.

SL Premium Package Additions
The SL Premium Package adds Forward Emergency Braking. Typically found on higher priced SUVs, Nissan’s frontal collision-avoidance braking system utilizes advanced radar technology to assess the proximity and speed of vehicles ahead. It senses things just like bats do, analyzing signals that return to it after bouncing off of other objects. FEB alerts drivers when it detects a risk for collision and has the ability to automatically apply the brakes if the driver does not take action.
