When returning home from an outing with her family, Jessie Bruton was shocked to see a new Nissan Pathfinder sitting on her front lawn with a red bow on it. Inside, there were hand-over papers and a note with no name, which simply stated that they hoped the SUV would help her family. When seeking out who left her such a generous gift, Bruton contacted the car saleswoman, but even she wouldn't disclose the name of the anonymous benefactor.

Bruton, who resides in Oak Flats, Australia, was left paralyzed after complications with the birth of her third child. Though she may never gain back feeling in her legs, the wife, mother and former fitness instructor is working hard to teach herself how to walk again. Before receiving the SUV, travel was difficult because the family's old vehicle didn't have room for her wheelchair and prams and was prone to break down. However, now that Bruton has passed her disability driving test, she can drive herself to rehabilitation sessions and the new SUV has been immensely helpful.

"It's really lovely to know there are people in this world who are willing to give something without receiving any recognition ... I respect that they want to remain anonymous, but I'd just like to thank them for letting me drive again - letting me feel a bit normal again," she said.
