Out of hundreds of new cars debuted at the New York Auto Show, Popular Mechanics called the all-new 2015 Nissan Murano a standout. Read below to find out what editors had to say about the SUV's new look! Plus, browse video and photos - and get ready to see the new 2015 Nissan Murano in Decatur, Ill., later this year!

In its third generation, the SUV receives dramatic new styling, which is not toned down, but has instead transitioned into an attractive new form that critics still find edgy and striking. "SUVs tend to be pretty bland, and the new Murano is an attempt to shake up the segment with a look that's instantly recognizable," stated PopMech editors when citing why they placed the new 2015 Murano on their 10 Most Important Cars of the 2014 New York Auto Show list.
Based on the Resonance Concept that was introduced last year at the Detroit Auto Show, the 2015 Nissan Murano now features a "V-Motion" nose and Nissan's signature boomerang headlights, as well as a uniquely shaped and ultra-dynamic cantilevered roof that culminates with "disconnected" D-pillars at the rear end. The interior of the SUV is also all-new, offering "Zero Gravity" seats, more cargo volume and an enlarged panoramic moonroof, among other updates.
While Murano's styling may be too bold for some, PopMech's editors "support that kind of risk-taking." And, if you admire out-of-the-box design, you'll appreciate the visionary direction of Murano's design, too.
Coming up this summer at Crown Nissan, you'll find the 2015 Nissan Murano for sale in Decatur.
