There's a lot to love about the Versa Note, Nissan's hatchback spinoff of the Versa sedan. The five-door not only rings up for less than many of its competitors, but also flaunts a long list of available high-tech equipment, modern looks and, apparently, a "cool factor." Recently, Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com published their list of "10 Coolest Cars Under $18,000" and the 2014 Versa Note nabbed a spot on the list.

In its first year on the market, Note has quickly gained success and is already considered a top choice in its segment thanks to its great combination of efficiency, technology and interior space. When citing the reasons why they selected Note for their coolest cars list, KBB.com editors stated that it's "exceptionally roomy and flexible and offers a bunch of cool features including Nissan's handy Around View Monitor."

What do we love most about Note? To start, we agree with Kelley Blue Book's editors: For a compact car, the 2014 Nissan Versa Note has a surprisingly spacious interior with an adult-friendly backseat. Its size also partly accounts for its impressive EPA-estimated 40 mpg highway fuel economy rating; that's a level of efficiency that saves drivers money at the pump. And, as stated above, technology is another one of Note's strong suits; available features include technologies like NissanConnect with Navigation and Mobile Apps, Nissan Intelligent Key, Hands-Free Text Messaging Assistant and more.
