2017 Nissan LEAF Overview

The 2017 Nissan LEAF in Decatur is one of the most affordable electric cars on the market. 2017 Nissan LEAF Trims & Features

The new LEAF model is offered in three trims: S, SV and SL. Each one is available with seating for up to five passengers, providing plenty of room for all of your friends or family.

S Trim

S models come with a range of features, including heated mirrors, keyless ignition and entry, automatic climate control, cruise control, 16-inch steel wheels and full power accessories. Nissan Connect with Mobile Apps is also available through the 5-inch touchscreen as well as Bluetooth connectivity.

SV Trim

17-inch alloy wheels, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a 7-inch touchscreen, heated power side mirrors and navigation is offered on the SV. This model also gets Nissan Connect EV, which manages climate control and charging.

SL Trim

The SL trim of the 2017 Nissan LEAF in Decatur adds a rear spoiler, automatic LED headlights, foglights, heated rear seats, a cargo cover and leather upholstery.

2017 Nissan LEAF Performance

A 24 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and 80-kW electric motor is fitted on the S model. These components work together to produce 107 horsepower and 187 lb.-ft. of torque, and deliver an 84-mile driving range.

The SV and SL come with a 30 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and the aforementioned 80-kW motor. A 107-mile driving range is achieved with this setup.

Leaf models with a 30kWh battery pack and a 6.6kW on-board charger can be charged by a 240-volt power source. The quick-charge port on the SL and SV can be used to charge the car in 30 minutes, obtaining an 80 percent capacity.

2017 Nissan LEAF Safety Tech

A rearview camera, antilock brakes, stability control, traction control and airbags are standard on the LEAF. A 360-degree camera can also be outfitted to SV and SL trims, and has been noted in many 2017 Nissan LEAF reviews.
