When Nissan asked Facebook fans to help them turn an already rugged 2014 Titan Crew Cab PRO-4X into something even meaner and even burlier, they got a huge response. Fans voted on what customizations they thought Titan should get to prepare for a wild adventure, in which the truck would face some of the world's most treacherous landscapes.
Nissan's Project Titan truck is truly one-of-a-kind with crowd-sourced modifications that helped it face the tough Alaskan wilderness when piloted by David Guzman and Kevin McMahon, two Iraqi war veterans who are part of the Wounded Warrior Project. As they trekked through thorny valleys and over the mountainous frontier, Guzman and McMahon were well armored inside the truck.
Some of Titan's key changes included the addition of Bulldog LED lighting to illuminate the driving path on pitch-black nights; 35-inch Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires for tackling the tough landscape; an ARB Deluxe Bull Bar for much-needed frontal protection; and a unique digital-camouflage wrap, which pulled inspiration from military vehicles. Inside, the truck got Katzkin leather-upholstered seats with special Wounded Warrior Project and Project Titan insignia, among other updates. Check out the videos below for more details!
