Now that we're too old to trick-or-treat (except as chaperons), Halloween isn't just about candy anymore. So drop off the kids with their grandparents and enjoy a night on the town at this upcoming event: A fun and frightful party for adults, the Haunted Halloween Bash at Mt. Zion Convention Center will offer spooktacular entertainment and the perfect opportunity for you to eat, drink and be scary!

Gremlins, goblins and creatures of all kinds are invited, so get your tickets before they sell out! Entertainment will be provided by the Rosetta Stone band, who will be playing a great mix of current and old-school covers, as well as popular Halloween tunes. When you're not dancing (and proving that ghouls just want to have fun), you can stop by the cash bar to purchase fang-tastic cocktails or enjoy a wide assortment of appetizers while mingling with friends and other locals. Also, make sure you dress in your best Halloween ensemble because the costume contest offers great prizes!

The event takes place Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, from 8 p.m. to midnight; doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are only $15 in advance or $18 at the door. Call (217) 864 - 5424 to reserve your spot at the party. Mt. Zion Convention Center is located at 1400 Mt. Zion Parkway.
