Over the years, Nissan has developed a multitude of concept vehicles, which are not only experiments in design but also a platform to see what the automaker can accomplish when it comes to utility, performance and powertrain technology. These are three of the most fascinating concepts created by Nissan in past years.

Nissan BladeGlider Concept

The future of Nissan's electric and performance lineups could be represented by BladeGlider, a pure-electric two-seat fastback with distinctive narrow front-end styling. It redefines what a sports car can be, offering a unique way to distribute weight and optimize aerodynamics.

Nissan Nuvu Concept

As cities continue to grow, smog and gridlock will become bigger and bigger problems, but vehicles such as the Nuvu Concept present a solution. With its diminutive size and all-electric powertrain, Nuvu is perfectly designed for commuting in busy cities and has been called a "moving oasis" because of its zero-emissions setup.

Nissan Bevel Concept

Bevel is a unique spin on the multi-activity vehicle, designed very specifically for a certain type of user, which Nissan calls the "Everyday Hero." This is a person who's always willing to help a neighbor, is involved in lots of activities and community service, and would use their vehicle as an extension of their garage or workspace, rather than as a vessel to tote around passengers. Nissan believes that in the future, there could be more defined vehicle "genres," which would be developed expressly for the needs of specific personalities and Bevel is one example of a vehicle that Nissan designed with this in mind.
