2018 Nissan Pathfinder Gets Fresh Appearance Package & Features

2018 Nissan Pathfinder

It’s been just one year since the Nissan Pathfinder was completely overhauled, but that hasn’t stopped the brand from making a few more tweaks to the SUV for 2018. Soon to be arriving at Crown Nissan of Decatur, the model comes with new safety tech and an appearance package designed to spruce up its exterior.

Offering seven-passenger seating and four trim options – S, SV, SL and Platinum, the 2018 Nissan Pathfinder is guaranteed to be a top choice for buyers in the market for a roomy, reliable and feature-packed SUV. This model year, the vehicle adds standard Intelligent Cruise Control and NissanConnectSM with Navigation and Services to the SL, four more USB ports across the lineup and two new paint color options: Midnight Pine and Scarlet Ember. It also gets standard Automatic Emergency Braking, enhancing safety for passengers.

In addition to AEB, a new Rear Door Alert system is optional for drivers who want even more safety functions. The system works by letting drivers know when they may have forgotten something in the rear seat, such as groceries, valuables or even pets. Drivers can toggle it on or off, depending on their needs.

For those who want to change up their Pathfinder’s appearance, the Midnight Edition package is the best bet. Now available on SL and Platinum trims, the package adds on black mirror caps, black grille surround, black roof rails, black badging, black 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, black splash guards and even illuminated kick plates. These models can be painted Magnetic Black, Gun Metallic or Pearl White.
